Rules, Judges Instruction & Criteria

1. All entries may be submitted for any of the competitions multiple times. Once the entree has taken 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in any division at any of the competitions it can not longer be submitted.
2. No repeat trophied entries from past years are allowed.
3. Pictures will be available from past competitions for judge’s reference.
4. Artwork will be prepared by the competitor prior to the competition.
5. Every competitor should be prepared to verbally explain how something was created, if asked by the judges.
6. Competitors may only submit their own work.
7. All entrees may be questioned and the competitor asked to recreate a portion of the work submitted as proof.

8. Artwork must be presented and encased in a clear plastic box frame no larger than 20cm square and 10cm in height.
9. The tip must be present at the artwork and be easy to identify. Any tip length and shape is acceptable.
10. The artwork may be as large as the competitor chooses, but it must fit into the proper size box.
11. Three dimensional artwork should be applied with acrylic or gel.
12. Rhinestones, feathers, foil, gems, accessories, ornaments and painting is allowed.
13. This competition stresses creativity, difficulty and how well the theme of the entire design is recognizable and “makes sense” or goes together, all adding to the theme.
14. All form of sculpting and 3D tools are allowed. Wire, foil, balloons, electric enhancements & net are all allowed.
15. Competitors may submit 1 entrees.
16. Total possible point earned is 120.
